Tenants’ View Do you want to influence change?


Gallions Residents Group (GRG) is made up of committed volunteers who work with Gallions to monitor services on behalf of residents. Members are invited to sit on various groups within Gallions to give a resident’s perspective on activities and decisions.


We have a number of vacancies within the GRG and invite all interested tenants, leaseholders and charge payers to apply. Applications from Gallions residents outside Thamesmead would be particularly welcome. We are holding two taster sessions next month so you can find out what the group does. So please join us on:


Tuesday 15 February 10.00am to 12.00pm at the Gallions office in Harrow Manor Way, Thamesmead.


Thursday 24 February 6.30pm to 8.30pm at the GRG office, the Atrium, Teeswater Court, Middle Way, Thamesmead.

The snow


is falling… We have had quite a bad winter so far but with thanks to Team Gallions most residents have still been able to get out and about.


During snowy and icy conditions Team Gallions work hard to spread grit in priority areas such as older person blocks, slopes, stairs and busy locations. If you have an area near you that is particularly icy or inaccessible please contact us 0800 83 84 81 and we will try our best to make it safer for you. The team can only treat the areas which belong to Gallions.


Your local council also provides a winter maintenance service to deal with ice and snow situations so you can also contact them about issues where you live.
