Friday, March 25 Salem Youth Baseball is excited to be hosting the 2nd Annual Dinner Dance Fundraiser, which will be held at the Harris’ Pelham Inn at 7 p.m. This event is an important fundraising function for Salem Youth Baseball. The League has made tremendous improvements to Michele Park, a town-owned park, through countless volunteer man hours and fundraising to make it one of the finest youth sport facilities in the state, and this year we’d like to open it up to the special needs children of Salem. This year’s theme is “First Pitch,” which represents the launching of our Challenger Division. The new Division will allow special needs children of all ages to participate in the great game of baseball. Funds raised from this event will help defer the costs of setting up the Challenger Division, as well as keep costs down for the other levels of baseball that we support. The evening will feature a DJ, a Baseball Idol Karaoke contest, delicious food, raffle items, silent auction, and a sports memorabilia auction.
