And though Alexis is certainly at a much smaller level than Lady Gaga and her colleagues, Matthew and keyboardist Dan Hurst succeed greatly at bringing both the spectacle and the magic of great pop music into their live shows and into their recordings. local open mic nights. Its in- fectious, and, at times, spacey tunes quickly won the band an audience that continues to grow more and more each day. And now, with The Night, its debut EP, the duo hopes to continue performing music that not only satisfies cravings for good pop music, but also challenges them.
