The Sun Lakes Cloggers. The Sun Lakes Cloggers are going to


have a busy year in 2011. The performers recently entertained the local DAR group with a fantastic rendition of the military tune Storman Normin. The dancers also performed at


the January luncheon for


the Agave Quilters. They are currently preparing for the annual Chandler and Gilbert Senior Center Senior Variety show at the Chandler Center for the Arts March 16, 17 and 18. They still have some slots


available to entertain other local group functions. Contact anyone in the group if you are interested. The group also gives lessons for


beginners to advanced clogging. Instructions are conducted on Wednesdays between 11:00 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. in the Mirror Room of Sun Lakes Country Club. For more information contact Berniece at 480-895-0831 or Goldie at 602-617-4118. 


Fit and Fun Weigh-in Club: you can lose weight and feel great

Year’s resolution to shape up and lose weight? Or have you already given up? Either way, we can help with positive support, reinforcement and information at our weekly weigh-in meeting! Think about it--have you got one hour a week? Do you want


to get slimmer and healthier? Are


your pants getting a little too tight? If you answered “YES” to any of these questions, come and join us! Fit and Fun is an informal, positive weight loss support group for women who are ready to make changes. Come for a weekly weigh-in, education and support session. We are taking charge of our bodies, lives and attitudes together! We meet


in Cottonwood Country Club,


but all women from Sun Lakes are invited to join us. We meet all year round, every Wednesday, every week. Weight loss is always easier together!

yoga mats in the room. Wear loose comfortable clothing. If you


cannot easily get up and down on the fl oor, the exercises can be done while sitting. Dahn Yoga is not traditional yoga but is a


system of renewing energy in the body and getting the energy fl owing. This is done by tapping the meridian lines,


stretching, and


twisting. These exercises also include breathing techniques, energy movements and relaxation. You will feel energized, have less pain and will be able to sleep better. lose weight and become a healthier, happier you! We are a Weight Loss/Maintenance Support Group for all women of Sun Lakes. 9:15-9:30 Weigh-In 9:30-10:15 Support and Info meeting. In nice weather we take a walk around


the lakes after the meeting! Bring: A notebook and pen or journal
