Established in 1861, Thomas Crapper and Co pioneered some of the fi rst fl ush-system toilets and supplied the very best bathroom fi ttings to the gentry, nobility and royalty of the time. Today the fi rm still produces the fi nest bathroom fi ttings.
Half Moon Bay has worked closely with this historic company to produce a gift range which refl ects its quirkiness, humour and overall Britishness. The range includes ceramics such as a soap dispenser, toothbrush holder and giant mug, and a toilet roll printed with such gems as “Hygiene and cleanliness are essential to ensure robust good health and longevity” and “please refrain from sullying the water closet”.

Vietnamese pottery, Sardine Run is named
after the annual mass spawning of sardines in Southern Africa. This spectacular natural phenomenon sees millions of sardines in shoals up to 7km long meet on the Agulhas Bank, the confl uence of the warm waters of the Indian Ocean and the cold waters of the Atlantic. Sardine Run is evocative of the sparkling waters of these two mighty oceans and its bold contemporary design combines the interlocked shapes of individual fi sh to create a stunning collection of casual tableware and accessories, equally at home in a sun-drenched seaside villa or a chic city apartment.
