Rinnai Buderus “Thumbs down to the Board of Selectmen.
After wasting more than seven years and over $700,000.00 on architect’s fees, you present the voters with a last minute truly ugly Fire Station. The Village Green is the Center of Pelham Pride. It deserves better. SAVE THE VILLAGE GREEN. Vote no on the ugly Fire Station.”
“Thumbs up to Windham Center School’s
Mr. Miloro (5th grade)! A great teacher, a great motivator and a great person. You have really brought out the best in my child this year and it is appreciated.”
“Thumbs down, a huge ‘thumbs down’ to the man who presented the idea that the town should buy 2 houses next to the town beach in order to expand the town beach another 87 feet. Since when did we get into the business of home buying? If my home goes on the market will the town buy my house too? And if the town does in fact buy my house will it give me the amount that my taxes are based on? Isn’t it bad enough that we are being set up to build other new schools and expanded school additions? The High School is still not finished, a stadium/track are still needed, along with the fact that there is an addition in the works. Why would we want Pelham to attend our schools when we are complaining that we do not have enough space for our own kids? Keep Pelham out and make due with what we have. Our taxes in this good old boy town are on the incline as it is.”

“Thumbs up to Lorraine Dube for stepping down! We all knew she couldn’t make a decision without Linda pulling her strings to make her talk!”
“Thumbs down, way down to the principal and coaches of PHS for not suspending athletes who were caught drinking, and some even driving back in the fall. What are we teaching our students, that if you are on a sports team that you get preferential treatment? Are we more
worried about our team record than we our of our students safety? Maybe as time passes nobody will notice! Lets see if we can make up for this mistake.”
“Thumbs down to the Selectmen. In late December you concluded that the economy was too bad and there wasn’t enough time to put together a credible Fire Station proposal. Two weeks later you go forward with a cobbled together last minute still incomplete fire station plan. You got it right the first time. The economy still stinks and you didn’t have time to put together a credible proposal. A 3.7 million dollar project put together in less than two weeks? Do you think the voters are that stupid?”

“Thumbs up to our Team Jade Pelham Tot Soccer coaches Gil, Greg and Mike! You guys did a great job and the kids enjoyed playing!”
“Thumbs up a big ‘thumbs up’ and God bless
“Thumbs up, way up, to Rockingham Emergency Veterinary Hospital! Your care and compassion was exceptional and we are grateful for all that you did for our cat, Coal. You saved his life! We cannot thank you enough - you went above and beyond to provide great care and to be so reassuring to us. It’s wonderful to have such a great hospital in our community! Keep up the great work!”
“Thumbs down. Does the sports section of this paper realize there are some great athletes from Windham playing for Salem High School still? Do we really need the seven pages of news about the W/P Hockey Team? Why don’t you do some work and give the Windham kids playing for Salem some coverage. Some of these kids are doing well in Division 1 Sports.”
“Thumbs up for having the gruesome
twosome off the Pelham School Board!! The only problem now is that with no one regulating what they can say, the lies should be REALLY good on upcoming fliers they distribute!!”
“Thumbs down to Linda Mahoney for submitting warrant articles that don’t cover the entire cost of the jobs! What good is a sprinkler system with no water?? Just about as good as your $12 million dollar addition plan…. useless!!”

my neighbors on Atwood Road that helped me plow and shovel out my driveway. I’m handicapped and its nice to see them joining together to help me out. A great big ‘Thank you’ to everyone.”
“Thumbs down to the Pelham plow truck
driver who threw his empty beer cans in my front yard on Bush Hill Road. Please keep your trash in your truck and not in my yard.”
“Thumbs up to Windham’s school board for their kindergarten addition to the Goldenbrook school, as Windham has over 150 kindergarten students. But as usual down to Pelham’s board for wanting to build a school building for only 76 children. No fuzzy math please, people beware, school building is not wanted or necessary.”
“Thumbs up a big ‘thumbs up’ to Ashley for making the deans list at UNH. All your hard work and determination has paid off. Happy 2011, love Mom, Dad and Nana.”
“Thumbs up to Representative D.J. Bettencourt on his election as Majority Leader of the New Hampshire House of Representatives. The youngest majority leader in the country and the youngest in New Hampshire history. He is a bright rising star and he will do an amazing job.”
“Thumbs down to whoever wrote the ‘thumbs down’ To All The Smokers of New Hampshire. Judging ALL people because of SOME people is called Prejudice. I, as I’m sure others, are courteous about smoking. I happen to only smoke in the privacy of my own home. Why? Because smokers are treated like lepers. If there is smoking at the public place you attend, go somewhere else.”
“Thumbs down, a super big ‘thumbs down’
to the new majority leader of the house of reps in Concord for taking 3 weeks to get back to a constituent.”

“Thumbs down to Democratic Party hack Jane Lang. How is Jane to judge anyone on ethics or priorities? She embezzled thousands of dollars from neighbors who trusted her with their hard earned money. She then attempted to run for public office without disclosing her illegal behavior.
Jane, leave legislating to adults
without criminal records.” “Thumbs up to the person(s) posting ‘thumbs
downs’ about the corruption with the Pelham Baseball organization! Thankfully I read the ‘thumbs’ and did the RESEARCH myself and found every point they made to be 100% accurate and true! I only wish they were able to put their knowledge in a LETTER to the Editor, but I can imagine what wrath they would encounter from the corrupt board members that are running scared now. Keep up the good work! Keep the information coming! My children won’t go anywhere near those ball fields this year. Bring on Lacrosse and soccer!”
