Dear Parent/Teacher
Welcome to the Excel Quick Guide. We hope that you will fi nd it useful when planning for the needs of your child’s education.
We have been publishing quality educational resources for parents, teachers and students for twenty years and are the leading publisher of home study materials in Australia.
Our authors are highly qualifi ed—all experienced teachers or lecturers at university, such as James Athanasou, AS Kalra and Kristine Brown. They are all specialists in their fi elds and people who strongly believe in the importance of education.
The books in our home study range come highly recommended by teachers and are used in many schools. We believe that a complete education for your child is achieved through work at school as well as at home. Research confi rms the belief that students who do more homework are more likely to succeed at school.
Our Excel series of books starts at preschool level and goes right through primary school to the end of high school.
The series caters for the diverse educational needs of children as they progress through the different levels in their education. Your child may need more practice, extra homework, revision work or in-depth revision notes—and our range of over 300 books offers all this and much more!
You have my own personal endorsement of the quality of the books that we publish. I am a former teacher myself, with over ten years’ teaching experience in New Zealand and Australia, and a published author of nine educational titles.
We always welcome your feedback as we are dedicated to improving our books to best suit your needs. So if you have any requests for books you would like us to publish, or you have ideas on how we can improve our existing range of books, you can contact me directly. I welcome your feedback.
