Gaggenau’s new kitchen ventilation system has ideas above your workstations

LAUNCHING

in the

UK this month, Gaggenau’s new modular ceiling ventilation system AC 402 will offer a streamlined and highly flexible option for kitchen extraction.

The key features of the extractor are its minimalist design and flexible configuration options. It is a modular system that offers flexibility for dimensions and fan output, and can be fitted flush with the ceiling or integrated into kitchen cabinetry.

The system comprises separate control, lighting and filter modules that can be combined with the two new remote fan units AR 400 / AR 401. With a maximum of two remote fan units and eight filter modules, each control unit achieves an extraction rate of between 950 and 2800 m³/h.

The lighting can also be selected according to indiviudal preferences. As the control unit is available with or without illumination, the ceiling ventilation system AC 402 can also be combined with external lighting systems, if desired.

The AC 402’s combination of patented rim extraction filters and new remote fan units helps to ensure that the system is not only efficient, but also particularly quiet in operation. This effect can be further enhanced by mounting the remote fan units outside the kitchen, for example in the loft.

The ventilation units are available in ducted extraction or recirculation versions and the whole system is operated by remote control for ease of use in open plan kitchens.
