Q&A with new HOA II General Manager
Jeannette Berczi Susan Poppey became the new general
manager for SaddleBrooke HOA II on December 13. She will report to the board and have
responsibility for leading the that
organization including Food and Beverage. Susan has strong management skills having successfully managed other communities and clubs. For her full resume visit www.
sbhoa2.org. Though Susan is here just a short time, we invited her to share some of her thoughts about our community and her plans. Following are some questions and answers: JB Susan, was there any one thing impressed you the most about our
community? SP The fi rst thing I noticed was how
organized and professional everyone seemed to be. I had a chance to interface with the Board, a few members and the Department Heads and staff and was encouraged by the friendly and warm atmosphere. I was also impressed with the website and the details from the homeowners’ perspective. I felt like the job fi t quite well. JB How would you compare your
previous position as general manager of Chestnut Ridge Country Club to what you will do in SaddleBrooke? SP Primarily, they are the same responsibilities. I’ll be trading the Golf and
