Sightseeing
Begin with a cruise down the Mulgrave River and learn about the area’s unique flora and fauna. Then take a short open water crossing to Frankland Islands - a perfect location to discover the wonders of the Great Barrier Reef with a certified or introductory dive (optional extra), or snorkellers can drift over an amazing variety of corals and marine life. Alternatively, stay dry and discover this underwater paradise from the semi-sumbersible coral viewer or glass bottom boat. Lunch is served on the island. The day is then yours to enjoy. Afternoon tea is served on the journey back to Cairns, arriving at approximately 5.15pm.

Kuku Yalanji Dreamtime Walk. After arriving at Mossman Gorge, you will be treated to a guided rainforest walk along private, easy graded tracks, visiting special places and culturally significant sites, past traditional bark shelters and over cool rainforest streams. Your experienced interpretive Indigenous guides demonstrate traditional plant use, identify bush tucker sources, share their dreamtime legends, explain the history of cave paintings and provide an enchanting narrative of the rainforest and their special relationships within this unique tropical environment. Enjoy Tea, Damper and question time. Your driver/guide will show you points of interest in Mossman, Australias most Northern Sugar town. Silky Oaks Lodge is our lunch venue where we enjoy a delicious barramundi lunch in this beautiful rainforest oasis, overlooking Mossman River. Alternative lunch options on request. Daintree River Cruise Centre, enjoy a fascinating hour cruise, home to birds, tree snakes, unique plants and the estuarine crocodile. A great photo opportunity. Scomazzon Fruit and Cane Farm, a tropical fruit tasting is included as a special treat. Port Douglas, enjoy a short tour of the historical town of Port Douglas before returning home.

Your journey ends at Caravonica Lakes and your coach will transfer you to your accommodation.

Join a calm-water cruise along the Daintree River whilst observing the unique wildlife. Keep your eyes peeled for the estuarine saltwater crocodile! After your cruise,we return to Cairns.
