Whether you are planning a self-drive holiday or simply prefer to plan as you go, an accommodation pass is a convenient, flexible and cost effective way to purchase accommodation around the country. It is suggested that you pre-book the first night’s stay especially during peak periods.

Choice HotelPass is a convenient, flexible and cost-effective way to travel. Select from a variety of locations across the country for your pre-booked or go-as-you-please holiday.
How the pass works
Purchase your passes prior to departure and simply choose to pre-book your accommodation before travelling, or travel with an open-dated pass, giving you the flexibility to travel and stay where you like, when you like.
Pre-booked pass
If you have a good idea of where you want to travel in advance, you may prefer to pre-book pass accommodation for either your first night or all nights. Simply purchase the grade of your choice and pre-book each night’s accommodation at the time of making your reservation.
Open-dated pass
Purchase the pass grade of your choice. Pre-book just your first night’s accommodation at the time of making your reservation. Consult the Choice Hotels directory and make your reservations directly with each property as you go. If you intend to arrive after 6.00pm, be sure to phone ahead with your estimated time of arrival to ensure your reservation is not cancelled and given to another guest.
Pass options
Choice Hotels Australasia offers a variety of pass grades covering a wide range of properties. The different levels are an indication of price:
• Yellow - Generally Comfort Inns or hotels found in suburban or regional locations
• Pink - Comfort or Quality Inn hotels in suburban or regional locations
• Green - Comfort or Quality Inn hotels in city centres or key regional and suburban locations
• Blue - Generally Quality Inn hotels in city centres, resorts and key regional locations
• Red - Quality or Clarion hotels in city centres, resorts and key regional locations
• Silver - Clarion hotels, resorts and luxury apartments located in city centres
Max. in room: Yellow - 3 adults or 2 adults/1 child; Pink - 3 adults or 2 adults/1 child; Green - 4 adults or 3 adults/1 child; Blue - 3 adults or 2 adults/1 child; Red - 3 adults or 2 adults/ 1 child; Silver - 3 adults or 2 adults/1 child.
NOTE: Pre-booked reservations are strongly recommended during peak times such as school and public holidays.

Select from the many locations available for your pre-booked or open-dated itinerary. It is suggested that the first night’s stay on an open-dated pass be pre-booked, especially in peak periods.

• Your hotel pass is easy to use and consists of pre-paid accommodation vouchers
