Day 1: Adelaide – Kangaroo Island


Depart early morning for Cape Jervis to connect with SeaLink’s fast ferry for the short cruise to Kangaroo Island. On arrival, board a SeaLink coach to commence your Kangaroo Island discovery that begins with Cliffords Honey Farm. After lunch head west to the Parndana Wildlife Park to feed kangaroos and take a guided tour. Continue to Seal Bay for a beach walk amongst a breeding colony of Australian sea lions. Then drive to Kingscote to view the daily pelican feeding. At the end of your tour transfer to your overnight accommodation at Kangaroo Island Lodge. After dark, discover Kangaroo Island’s little penguins and other wildlife on a guided Nocturnal Tour.

Visit Kelly Hill Caves and walk deep into the caves to view unique limestone formations, created over thousands of years. After lunch, head to Flinders Chase National Park, renowned as a sanctuary for native animals, including kangaroos, wallabies, koalas and echidnas. The tour will take you to the rugged southern coastline for a walk on Remarkable Rocks and then Admirals Arch, a safe haven for playful fur seals that can be seen swimming or resting on the rocks. Next, visit Island Pure Sheep Dairy, a unique and enterprising farm. Observe sheep being milked and sample delicious yoghurts and various cheeses. Your adventure ends at the ferry terminal for your return journey to Adelaide. B, L

Day 1: Adelaide – Kangaroo Island


Depart Adelaide by coach to Cape Jervis for a ferry to Kangaroo Island. Your guide will help you spot kangaroos and koalas in the wild. A highlight is a guided beach walk at Seal Bay. View a colony of Australian sea lions close up, as they bask on the beach. Your guide will allow you to stand remarkably close to watch them at play. Enjoy a picnic lunch in a secluded location, followed by a bushwalk. This afternoon, explore the stunning north coast and admire the scenery.


Overnight: Kangaroo Island Day 2: Kangaroo Island – Adelaide


This morning discover the natural wonders of Flinders Chase National Park. See the New Zealand fur seals that inhabit these waters and view Admirals Arch and the delicately- balanced granite domes of Remarkable Rocks. Enjoy a picnic lunch then tour the pristine wilderness by 4-wheel drive. By special permit, enter the Kelly Hill Conservation Park. As dusk approaches, mobs of kangaroos and other native animals move out into the open to graze. Depart for Adelaide aboard the 7.30pm ferry.
