The new co-branded video security cameras will bring togeth- er Pelco’s leadership in imaging with Cisco’s IP networking expertise to deliver the next generation ofHDIP video security cameras. They will be sold globally by Cisco authorized tech- nology providers. The Lake Street Parking Garage at Colorado State Uni-
versity in Fort Collins, the first multistory garage on cam- pus, will consist of four levels offering 850 parking spaces. There also will be approximately 24,000 square feet of retail and office space on the ground level. The project team includes CarlWalker (structural/functional design); H+L Architects (lead designer); Tetratech (civil); Shaffer Bau- com (MEP); Shaw Construction (Contractor); and Long Energy (LEED).As part of the university’s green initiative, the garage will include more than 9,000 solar panels, and it is being constructed on established land to help conserve exist- ing campus greenspace.

Management Expo The growth of theHawaii Buildings, Facilities&Property
Management Expo, now in its third year, is the result of unique, opposing and inconsistent forces in key market seg- ments of the state’s economy. The 2010 Expo, set forMarch 10-11 at the Neal S. Blaisdell Center in Honolulu, is experi- encing unprecedented early demand for exhibit space, organiz- ers say. The 2009 Expo attracted 2,356 attendees representing,
among others, Hawaii’s building owners and managers, condo association boards, government agencies, hotels, shopping centers, hospitals, and commercial real estate brokers and property management firms. It featured 255 product, service and equipment exhibits and 22 industry-related seminars. The 2010 Expo is expected to feature more than 275
exhibits and will host 30 seminars, including sessions to be presented by the Hawaii chapters of the Building Owners & Managers Association, the Community Associations Insti- tute and the Certified Commercial Investment Member Institute. The Hawaii State Department of Business, Eco- nomic Development and Tourism will be providing an update and progress report. Admission to the exhibits and seminars is free.
