SECURA KEY LAUNCHES PLUG-IN WIRELESS NETWORK MODULE
Secura Key announces the availability of a new
wireless network module that allows its SK-ACP two- door access control panel to easily connect to a Local Area Network to monitor and control a system. This module replaces expensive outboard network adapters, eliminating the requirement for an additional enclosure, cabling and a power supply. The key advantage of the wireless module is that it enables network access in locations where there is no preexisting Ethernet cable, thus providing solutions for challenging installations.

OSRAM LED PRODUCES WARM WHITE LIGHT, HIGH EFFICIENCY, TRUE COLORS
Osram Opto Semiconductors has developed an
LED that offers high efficiency, excellent color rendering and a pleasant warm white light. The prototype is the first to offer the three important properties that together are essential for general illumination applications, namely a color temperature of 3000 K, a color rendering index of 82 and an efficiency of 104 lm/W. Not only is the quality of light excellent, but the efficiency with which it is produced is also ground-breaking. Says Frank Baumann, Project Manager at Osram: “The successful combination of high quality of light and excellent energy efficiency will bring the commercial breakthrough for LED technology even closer.”

Lane.Cash paystation features a compact design used in-lane with a barrier gate.
Lane.Cash offers a user-friendly alternative to exit cashier booths, with all of the functionality of a pay-on-foot in a free-standing revenue collection device. The secure steel paystation uses a three-point locking mechanism and accommodates all common payment transactions from right inside the vehicle on exit. It’s the only pay-in-lane that converts into a pay-on-foot, as needed.
