Abu Dhabi Desert Challenge
March/April 2010
This is one of the world’s most prestigious international cross country rallies, previously known as the The Desert Challenge, which runs annually. This five-day motor sport spectacle is entirely stated across the diverse landscape of the Arabian Gulf emirate under the auspices of the Abu Dhabi Tourism Authority with the Automobile and Touring Club of the UAE as the event organisers.
RED BULL Air Race
Abu Dhabi Corniche April 2nd - 3rd, 2010
Abu Dhabi is the traditional start for the Red Bull Air Race World Series in April. The Corniche is transformed into a unique racetrack with a specially built airport situated in the harbour. You can view the action from the shore as the pilots race through the air just metres above the water. The competition is very exciting and the low level flying on the compact course means that you can experience all the action close up and you can enjoy a thrilling fireworks finale.
