thehenrymooreprimaryschool Christmas 2010 at Henry Moore

Reception and Y1 children from the Henry Moore Primary School entertained packed audiences with their rendition of a short nativity musical, called Whoops- A-Daisy Angel. The older children took the lead, reciting a nativity poem by Gervais Phinn and singing ‘Frosty the Snowman’ in two parts. They played musical instruments as accompaniment. The younger children performed a snowman dance and sparkled as angels and snowfl akes. The older children formed the main tableau with reception children playing the parts of Mary and Joseph. Sian Kearney and Kiera McGowan from Y1 performed superbly as the very clumsy angel.

Year’s 2 and 3 performed ‘A Creepy Crawly Christmas’

Years 4, 5 and 6 performed a stunning adaptation of Peter Pan

All performances were to a very high standard and enjoyed by the audiences. The children all worked hard, learned a lot and great fun was had by all!
