I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas I was fortunate enough to have several days off and am now looking forward to another year working with you all to keep Church Langley a safe place.
The recent spell of snow and ice brought its problems; chaos on the roads, slippery pavements and yes snowballs!!
It was fantastic to see so many of you out and about having fun building snowmen and having snowball fi ghts but (yes, there’s always a but!) yet again there are always a few individuals who have to take things just that one step further.
I am referring to the small group of lads who unfortunately thought it would be fun to snowball property and moving vehicles. These lads have been spoken to and home visits undertaken. The

seriousness and consequences of their actions has been explained and assurances have been given that this behaviour will not reoccur if, or should I say when, we have our next snow fl urry.
It was fantastic to hear from so many elderly and vunerable residents of the kindness of neighbours who had been collecting shopping, prescriptions and clearing paths and drives.
Church Langley residents have a great community spirit and I just love having Church Langley as my beat.
