Walks Away from Six-Figure Corporate Job to Blaze a New Trail

Rebecca McClain was laid off from her job at the height of the

recession in 1992. Instead of giving up, she decided to take matters into her own hands and start her own consulting practice, helping small businesses succeed. She later returned to corporate America, but kept her consulting practice as a safety net. Realizing what she needed in order to be truly fulfilled, she eventually took a leap of faith and walked away from her corporate job to become an entrepreneur full-time. Today, Rebecca McClain is an award-winning Personal and Business/

Executive Coach, who helps people to identify, confront, overcome their challenges and achieve great results. She is also a professional speaker, author of three books and creator of two small business development programs. “When I was in corporate America, I knew deep within that I was

destined to blaze a new trail on my own, but at the time, I didn’t know what that path would be,” she recalls. “What I did know is that I had a passion to help people overcome their challenges and have meaningful lives.” That path started to become evident when Rebecca wrote her first book in 2000 on debt freedom. She began teaching seminars on financial management skills and in turn, instructed others on how to become more fiscally responsible. Her second book was published in 2006 and she began hosting her own seminars at the Eagles Landing Country Club in Stockbridge, Georgia. Rebecca’s first online newsletter was published in January 2007, and although

she hadn’t entertained the idea of becoming a coach, it naturally evolved at that point. With today’s modern conveniences, Rebecca coaches clients nationwide. Coach Rebecca McClain’s hope for 2011 is to continue to expand into new

territories and make a greater impact in the lives of people by helping them gain the unfair advantage so they can win in business and in life.
