Ok, now she’d done it. I thought there couldn’t be a stupider picture that the one of me in a flower costume, then there was the prison costume, then the spandex bike, then the tuxedo and now…..omg stupid 2011 New Year’s glasses!

Isn’t this considered abuse? To make me dress up like this and wear #$#@@#$% colored glasses? What was she thinking? How embarrassing!

I work day in and day out to keep that crazy person happy – I snuggle with her at night, I only growl and snap when I’m in a bad mood, I put up with her making me sit for pictures with all kinds of people. So why does she do this to me? Huh? Got any ideas?

Well, we had a big New Year’s party at Deogi this year. (Deogi is the doggie day- care where a bunch of my rescue friends live while they are waiting for a new forever home.) Anyway, a bunch of the Deogi cli- ents and Lone Star Rescues came to play all night. We watched the Times Square ball go down for the new year and that was cool. Then, this nutsy crazy lady made us all pose with these S T U P I D glasses on. Good Grief. Good Grief!

I had to get a lot of sleep, cuz 2011 has started out as a crappy rescue year. The Lone Star Shih Tzu & Lhasa Apso Rescue that I am the spokesdog for has already gotten at least ten requests to take in Christmas puppies. GOOD GRIEF!! Didn’t you read my column last month people!?!? I told you NOT to get a puppy if you want- ed to party after work every day. So why are you whining now just because you have to run home after work to let the puppy out. GOOD GRIEF AGAIN! I TOLD YOU SO.

Maybe you’ll learn or pass the lesson on to your kids. You signed up for the puppy, now go be a responsible adult and do right by him! Keep him! Keep him safe and loved! It’s not anyone else’s responsibility – it’s yours. BE the solution, not the prob- lem.

Dougie Deogi, over and out!
