Quality Counts

How did you start off in the gaming industry? I was head-hunted from the Commercial Waste Industry and Joined Bell Fruit Services ltd as Managing Director in 1993: At that time BFS was the largest UK Operator of Low Stake gaming and Amusement Machines for the Tenanted, Freehold and Leased Pub Trade.

Access to All Areas 2010 was by all accounts a successful event again for TCSJohn Huxley. What were the most popular products? As always we managed to field a large array of new product developments and all were well- received. That said, Gaming Floor Live and our new Supernova Progressive and Mystery Bonus tables games system were probably the stars of our show.

Is the Palms Ghost Bar a permanent venue for TCS John Huxley or with G2e's change of venue from 2011 could that now be an option once again for the company to consider? Every year we consider every option: A very large part of our evaluation process is listening to what our customers have to say. At this time we are planning for the ICE event in January so we have not made any determinations about next years G2E, other than we have definitely not ruled it out.

Service and support as well as quality control have always been at the heart of the company's success. How are you managing to maintain such high standards in these challenging times? The quality of our products, and after sales service support is always at the forefront of who we are and what we do: Its not an option, it comes first every time. Sure times are tough and they are likely to be so for some time to come. Our investment plans in Quality and Service support are, and will be maintained and where possible increased. This year alone we have been awarded ISO 9001 : 2008 Accreditations for another three operational areas of our company in Europe, which is testament to the high focus all of the Team place on tip top quality and service support.

How has TCS John Huxley managed to maintain a competitive edge over its competitors especially now, in these ultra competitive times?

Worldwide we now a employ a great team - over 260 people - and we have, and continue to develop, a great range of unique products and services. Combine all of this with what is a great company and an insatiable appetite to "Win " and there's your answer!

Asia has proven a very successful region especially in recent years for the company. Would you put a major part of that down to the reputation and brand or to the range of products such as Nova Bet Touch Roulette, Chipper Champ and the traditional Tables and Roulette Wheels? We have been involved in the Asian Markets for many years, way before the recent "boom time". We know the markets and the people well. Combine this long history of doing business in Asia with a great range of products and a unique Turnkey offering, underscored by the strength of the TCSJH Brand and Company and you have a recipe of sustainable success.

The January shows are now only a matter of weeks away. What additional products and games can visitors to ICE expect to see at your stand? WE launched an array of new product developments at the recent AAA show, most of these will feature for the first time at ICE along with at least a couple of "surprises".

Online Gaming is a major global growth market, is TCS John Huxley getting involved in that market? We have no plans to get directly involved, but some of our remote gaming technologies are being deployed with a number of Online Gaming Companies.
