Community Imaging Center celebrates two years
The Women’s Imaging Center, an affi liate of Chandler Regional Medical Center, is celebrating its second anniversary in the Chandler community. “Due to our compassionate care and state-of- the-art equipment, our Women’s Imaging Center conducted over 16,000 procedures over the last two years,” says Peter Menor, vice president of operations at Chandler Regional Medical Center. “Nearly 10,500 mammographic exams, more than 4,700 ultrasound exams and approximately 1,100 bone density studies were completed.”
The Women’s Imaging Center offers digital mammography; ultrasound, mammography or
ultrasound guided biopsies; presurgical needle or wire localization; stereotactic breast biopsy; and bone density testing.
Next-day appointments are available for women requiring a routine mammogram, and patients requiring a diagnostic mammogram can be seen within three days.

services in Chandler Cancer patients, survivors and caregivers can receive up-to-date information and support, free of charge at the American Cancer Society Cancer Resource Center at Ironwood Cancer Research Center in Chandler. The center is staffed by trained volunteers who provide cancer information, services and local resources. Free gift items such as wigs, turbans and other head coverings, nutritional supplements and prosthesis and mastectomy bras are also available.
