Sheep-Leaping Craze Sweeps T rough the Animal Kingdom!!

Sheep breeders in the Yorkshire Dales are concerned about a new craze sweeping through the animal kingdom. It’s called sheep-leaping and at the moment seems to be restricted, thankfully, to wolves, foxes and sheep dogs with some cheeky Border Collies and even the usually humorless German Shepherds taking up the ‘sport’. T e real worry for farmers is that the craze could spread with larger animals, such as pigs and cows joining in. “If that were to happen the mind boggles as to the carnage that could be wrought through our fl ock,” complains Seth Palmer, Dales farmer.

Tired of constant blonde jokes, a blonde dyes her hair brown. She then goes for a drive in the country and sees a shepherd herding his sheep across the road.

“Hey, shepherd, if I guess how many sheep are here, can I keep one?”

T e shepherd is puzzled but agrees. She blurts out “352!”

He is stunned but keeps his word and allows her to pick a sheep.

“I’ll take this one,” she says proudly. “It’s the cutest!”

“Hey lady,” says the shepherd, “if I guess your real hair color, can I have my dog back?”

Also of great concern is the open sale of sheep camoufl age. Made cheeply in the Far East and, shipped around the world to mail order, these sheep suits are proving incredibly popular among predators with wolves making up the largest market. For obvious reasons, the wool industry would like this trade outlawed.
