Newspaper Club by Rebekah Remy & Amanda Baptiste 7-1 For five years newspaper club has been making newspapers for the whole

school. Mr. Ballenas (the 5th and 6th SS teacher) started this club for the students to express what they want to say in poetry, movie and book reviews, drawings etc. They use the computer room to type and work on the newspaper. This club is especially good for people who love to write. The supervisors for this club are presently Mr. Ballenas and Mrs. Pacific (the 7th and 8th ELA grade teacher). We are very fortunate to have a school newspaper and club. The name of our newspaper "The Flowering Lily" refers to the staff of Saint Joseph and the Josephite Sisters who started our school. Personally, we love being in Newspaper Club.
