Train as an instructor in Greece and Australia


The Greek island of Lefkas is in the Ionian Sea. Near its southern point lies Vassiliki, the home of Flying Fish from May to September.


Windsurfing and mountain biking take place here at Club Vass, the best equipped windsurf centre in Europe. Dinghy sailing is next door at Wildwind on an impressive fleet.


The warm water in the bay is usually calm until mid-morning, when the sea breeze starts. In the afternoon the wind accelerates, producing excellent cross-shore conditions from Force 4 up to very, very windy!


Scuba divers train here with Nautilus Diving and there are some spectacular sites to visit.


In Greece you stay in our student accommodation, the Fish House. This is a large village property with twin rooms, with en suite showers, shared kitchens, balconies and a big yard for open air dining.

Australia is simply the greatest Pacific island of them all, with a climate for sailing, surfing and diving all year round.


Dinghy sailing in Sydney is at the Flying Fish Sail Academy at Middle Harbour Yacht Club, the training base for the Australian Olympic sailing team.


The surf breaks of Sydney’s Northern Beaches are world- famous, while windsurfing at Balmoral makes use of the warm north-easterlies which blow across the harbour.


Diving in Sydney is at the Pro Dive Academy. Sites include the Central New South Wales, Jervis Bay and of course Sydney’s coastline.


While in Sydney you stay in our Queenscliff crew apartments - just a few minutes walk from two of Sydney’s best surf beaches.
