From career to career
Flying Fish is approved by the UK’s Ministry of Defence Career Transition Partnership as a supplier of resettlement training to service leavers from the British armed forces.
If you are entitled to resettlement funding as part of your transition to civilian life, you can use it towards most vocational training programmes with Flying Fish.
For many courses you will be entitled to both an Individual Resettlement Training Costs grant and Enhanced Learning Credits – as long as you make a personal contribution of at least 20% of the fees.
Flying Fish has worked with Resettlement Officers for more than 10 years. We can design individual training packages to suit most service leavers and we aim to ensure you get the maximum benefit from the allowances available.
Whatever your service background, Flying Fish will tailor a programme to suit you and your future goals. We recognise that many candidates for resettlement courses come to us with well developed training skills. Adapting them to the civilian world is our speciality.
Your service experience and qualifications will be translated into vocational qualifications that are recognised internationally. With civilian certificates and the Flying Fish online recruitment service you will soon make the transition from career to career.
Enhanced Learning Credits (ELC)
ELC funding is available for Flying Fish windsurfing and yachting courses at NQF Level 3 and above.
Brandon said … “I chose a Flying Fish Yachtmaster Ocean Traineeship to provide my stepping stone from a job in the military towards my dream: starting an adventure travel business. The experience allowed me to see the industry, improve my sailing skills, sail in some of the most beautiful spots I can think of, meet some fascinating people, and have a great time.”
