realised the front cover photo of Samatha Wills appears to show her without any unergardment on the lower half.

If I were new to your magazine I would assume it was some kind of amateur smut fest. But I’ve been reading it for at least a year now and while I like its rough edges, this is the first time it’s gone into the murky depths of teenage sex hu- mour. I hope it won’t happen again, if only because I’m sure you will lose both advertisers and readers if you continue in this way. Kerren, Coogee

Larger Than Life

I doubt very much whether the ‘larger than life’ penis on page 11 will do your credit rating any good - keep the magazine content out of the gutter please. I found ‘it’ very offensive and unnecessary. Name and address not supplied

Give The Joggers Some Respect Dear Pearl, I just loved your last article about joggers!

I’m a proud jogger around Bondi (beach and coastal walk) and I was so glad to read all my thoughts and issues about people that never respect us around the way. I don’t really have any problem sharing the path with anybody, but some people don’t really realise the path is not only for them, or their dog, or their whole family (lined up!)... By the way, there is another group which you didn’t mention... those football or frisbee players that almost kill us while playing those games, running over all the joggers (or anyone) around the soft sand! Anyways, thankyou for that and I hope it will help us in keeping our healthy and fit way of life without having to bother anyone or to be bothered!

Give The Parking Officers Brooms Your report “Revenue Raising Rangers on a Rampage” details Waverley Council parking officers performing acts which can only be described as “sheer bastardry”.

A question needs to be asked however, what actually happens to the millions of dollars raised, amongst other Council revenues? When I was parked in Bondi Beach recently (at 9.30pm with completely empty streets, yet still obliged to feed a meter) I noticed a sign. It indicated the Campbell Parade Upgrade at a cost of $3 million, due for completion in No- vember 2007.

As far as I can tell the only sig- nificant change on the beach strip in 20 years has been the erection of that sign. Meanwhile, the streets are consistently filthy and a council that is meant to “serve” residents ap- pears to be at war with them under the pretense of traffic management. I cannot help but feel Waverley (and Woollahra) would be much nicer areas if the parking officers were issued with brooms instead. Daniel Lewis, Rushcutters Bay
