University of Hertfordshire Bursaries


Significant numbers of our UK students at the University of Hertfordshire will benefit from our specially designed bursary scheme – these are non-repayable sums of money paid to those students who have the least financial resources.


Students who are in receipt of the full maintenance grant (see page 5) will receive a University of Hertfordshire bursary of £500.


You do not need to apply for the University of Hertfordshire Bursary, however you need to ensure you consent to share your information when applying to Student Finance England.


The bursary is paid directly to you and is not linked to any student loan you may have, or any scholarship which may be awarded to you. Your money will be released in two instalments. You will only be eligible for the bursary payment if you are in regular attendance and have no debt with the University.
