Introduction
If you are planning on coming to the University of Hertfordshire in 2011/2012, this booklet will help you understand how much it will cost and what financial support there is available.
Your entitlement to grants, bursaries and some loans are dependent upon your income and that of your household. A quick look guide can be found on pages 6 & 7 to give you an indication of what you may be entitled to.
Tuition fees and tuition fee loans
All full-time UK or EU undergraduate students studying at the University of Hertfordshire in 2011 will pay tuition fees of £3,375 for the year. These fees are subject to an inflationary increase in subsequent years.
UK and EU students have the option to take out a tuition fee loan to cover the full cost of the annual tuition fee. You do not have to start repaying this loan until you have left the University, and are earning at least £15,000 per year.
Part-time fees are £425 per 15 credits for UK or EU undergraduate students
