University of Hertfordshire Scholarships


Scholarships are awarded to students in recognition for high academic achievement. They are not means tested and do not have to be repaid; you will only be eligible for scholarship payments if you are in regular attendance. Some of the scholarships are associated with specific subject areas and may not be available to all students.


Chancellor’s Scholarships Chancellor’s Entrepreneurial Scholarships – Created to support students with budding business ideas, this scholarship is worth £3,000 per year for the duration of your course providing you maintain your academic standard, and is awarded to 20 students each year. You will also receive business guidance from our centre for entrepreneurial development. To be considered you need to achieve 360 UCAS points and submit an application detailing your business idea.


Chancellor’s Gifted and Talented Scholarships – This Scholarship is worth £2,000 per year for the duration of your course providing you maintain your academic standard, and is awarded to 40 students each year who have been identified as gifted or talented by their school/college. You will need to apply via an application form. If you are academically gifted, you will need to achieve a minimum of 360 UCAS points in addition to any specific requirements for your course.
