Farm News Linda Klee FORT BRAGG, CA

I’ve decided to change riding plans for Follow Hope (*Oman/ Faith’s Fantasia ATA by Pregel- strand)for the rest of the year to doing more dressage, as she was getting pretty strung out and losing her topline from doing so much distance riding (like a mara- thon runner).

So, we have been hitting the gym in the dressage arena for some good body work in self carriage and using her rear more.

I probably should have done it the other way around (dressage for her first few years and then went to endurance) but it is all good.

She is one tough horse and can progress right along in her dres- sage because now her bone, tendons, ligaments are strong. I will eventually go back to endur- ance when I feel she is carrying herself well.

I love having such a versatile sport horse!
