WELCOME
LOOK BACK, GO FORWARD
A very warm welcome to the new-look European Spa magazine, designed to help you unlock your business potential. We thought you deserved an exciting new look for an exciting new year, as we strive to bring you a refreshingly wider view of the latest in spa developments, innovations and business intelligence. After the challenges of 2010, 2011 promises to be a milestone year for the industry as more and more people dip into spa waters for healing and wellness. Celebrating spa excellence and keeping you informed of the very latest trends, news, expert opinion and product launches is our mission. In this issue we welcome a new contributor, spa consultant Nicola Stott, who looks back at some of the key trends we saw this year (p68). Going forward, guest contributor Susie Ellis gives us Spa Finder’s glimpse into the mind of the spa consumer with her top trends for 2011 (p28). The rest of the issue is packed with useful advice, reports, spa design tips and of course the latest menu offerings. We hope you enjoy such a fresh start with us, and from myself and the whole European Spa team we wish you happiness and good health for 2011.
