NEWS 15 Hilton unveils new global spa concept


Worldwide: Hilton Hotels & Resorts, owned by private equity firm Blackstone Group LP, has unveiled a new spa concept for its entire chain, christened ‘eforea: spa at Hilton’, which it claims “is poised to be one of the world’s fastest growing spa brands”. As a turnkey spa solution, the aim is to give spa investors an easy-to-implement spa solution to meet today’s guest expectations.


Hilton Hotels & Resorts currently has 123 spas worldwide. “eforea delivers the high standards guests expect from Hilton,” comments Dave Horton, Global Head of Hilton Hotels & Resorts (left). “With more than 80 spas currently in our global pipeline, eforea has the potential to evolve the spa segment of our industry on a global scale.” eforea is being heralded as the flagship spa brand of new corporate dimension Hilton

Worldwide, but will also be available at Doubletree and Embassy Suites hotels. Te treatment menu is to be based around three signature spa experiences, developed with HIlton’s chosen product houses Kerstin Florian, VitaMan and L’ITYA. “eforea’s cutting-edge design concept is complemented by the ease of standard operating procedures, global supply agreements, an exclusive treatment menu and training – which together can make opening a new spa simpler and more profitable for our hotels,” confirms Tyra Lowman, Senior Director of Spa Full Service & Luxury Brands at Hilton Worldwide. Te first eforea is now open at Short Hills, New Jersey, US, while the rollout continues in Tailand, Australia, Japan, the Maldives and the United Arab Emirates.
