David Cooley Band Performs in 2011
D
avid Cooley Band returns by popular demand to the MAC Grand Ballroom Saturday, Jan. 22. Featuring vocalist David Cooley, the band performs a variety of dance styles including swing, rumba, cha cha, West Coast swing, waltz favorites and more. This evening begins with ballroom dance instruction from 7:30-8:30 p.m., followed by dancing until 11 p.m.
Bridging the gap between Sinatra, Tony
Bennett, Elvis, Beatles, Billy Joel, Queen, Keith Urban, Kenny Chesney and younger crooners Harry Connick Jr. and Michael Bublé, Cooley’s music is a perfect blend of sophistication, romance, fun and rhythm. His years of experience as a social dancer make his music, tempos, and song arrange- ments perfect for popular partner dancing. The cost is $15 for members and $18 for guests.
