Group. Shown for the first time as part of the new Formica® Collection 2010, Rigato™ demonstrates how the Formica Group continues to provide a design-focused approach in bringing new ideas to its range of High Pressure Laminates (HPL). Developed in conjunction with leading designer Kristina Råström, this pioneering texture is a modern interpretation of a classic pin stripe. Working closely with the Formica Group’s design team a unique texture has been developed that plays on the subtle contrast between matt and gloss finishes. This, combined with deep linear etching and random stripe width, adds depth to an effortless design classic. Rigato creates interest with its geometric, embossed texture, perfect with solid colours in vertical applications, Rigato is ideal for commercial spaces. It creates visual and textural interest providing that extra dimension to applications such as interior wall coverings, furniture and fittings, or panels. This new range features six usable colours in 3050mm x 1300mm sheet size. From classic Polar White and Silver to contemporary hues such as the warm green/grey tones of Seed and timeless neutrals, Fossil and Earth, which partner harmoniously with subtle colours and warm whites.
