THE Electro:warm (r) Group, now based in Okehampton, offers affordable, efficient and eco-friendly heating systems for homes and offices. Founded in 2004, the company has installed many hundreds of heating systems all over the West of England, also nationally. In the last two years, the company has installed for, or supplied heaters to, projects by housing associations, leisure resorts and major councils.


The heating systems supplied by the


company are made of high quality materials incorporating German technology and carry the highest V.D.E. safety accreditation. Slimline and stylish, the heaters are maintenance-free and need no separate radiators, boiler or plumbing. Therefore, they need no routine gas safety checks and no toxic emissions or nasty oily smells are created in their use. With six combinations of height and depth


available, all requirements of application can be met including bathrooms and conservatories. Suitable for all types of property, they have been widely used in holiday and tenanted accommodation.


The fluted outer panels not only increase the radiant surface area but also create convective heat without the use of fans. The heaters, which feature multiple low wattage elements encased in chamotte fireclay, offer an effective use of energy with only 15-17 minutes of electricity needed on average to provide an hour’s warmth.


The simple thermostatic control allows the heater to warm the room to the required temperature by heating its chamotte storage blocks and then switches off leaving the retained heat in the blocks to maintain the room temperature for up to 30 minutes. As the blocks cool, the thermostat will switch the power back on for just a few minutes at a time to bring the room back up to the required temperature. If however the ambient temperature does not fall below the required setting, no more power will be used. Electro:warm (r) offers a nationwide
