IN THE MARKET A big hello to you from the

Tavistock Pannier Market!

Hello to you all,

I would like to start off by saying a great big thank you to all those who took part in the BBC Devon Air Ambulance quiz on 31st October. We raised over £1100 on the day! A great big thank you to all those who joined in and helped with the cream teas. A special thank you goes to Sean on ‘Pens and Moor’, to Jane on ‘Jane’s Cakes’ and to Caroline on ‘All Sewn Up’ as without their massive amount of input it would not have been possible. Plenty of laughs all round and a fantastic day out. Thank you.

This year the Tavistock Pannier Market has taken part in the Christmas Tree

Festival where traders have created their own decorations to decorate the Tree.

The current Christmas dates that I have been informed of are as follows: Open on Monday 20th December right through to Christmas Eve on Friday 24th December.

Closed from the 25th (Christmas Day) to the 28th of December.

Open from the 29th to the 31st December and then closed again for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd of January.

However, please check the local paper nearer the time in case of changes.

Are you looking to make some mulled wine over the Christmas period? Then look no further than Rachel’s Garden! She has neatly made dozens of little mulled wine pouches and as

a bonus she is selling cups of mulled Apple Juice which is a fantastic alternative to an alcoholic drink.

Tavistock Film and Music is a great place to sell any unwanted DVDs, CDs and Games, they also do a part exchange as well. Money given is dependent on disc quality. A disc repair service is also available, please ask at the stall for more information.

Many thanks for reading. We look forward to seeing you all again very soon.

Brett
