Union City Facility Reservation Information
Union City residents may book up to 1 year in advance, non-residents up to 6 months in advance. Union City Leisure Services also rents meeting spaces and classrooms for company meetings, workshops, seminars, and retreats during weekday business hours at select facilities.
For Park and Facility rentals, non-residents are charged an additional fee. You must live, own a business, or pay Union City Property taxes in order to receive the resident rate. Proof may be required.

31600 Alvarado Blvd. (510) 675-5488 The City of Union City’s Holly Center has been the center of Leisure Services’ activities on the western side of Union City since its dedication in 1984. The Holly Center is a versatile facility where a wide range of events can be held including weddings, large banquets, meetings and confer- ences. The Auditorium holds 250 people for din- ing. The Senior Room holds up to 90 people.

The Kennedy Community Center is the perfect facility for a small, intimate gathering such as a wedding, baby christening, or anniver- sary parties. The Assembly Hall is 38’ x 57’ and holds up to 160 people for dining.

Conferences and Meetings at the UC sports Center
Are you looking for a new venue to hold an upcoming con- ference, seminar or business meeting? Let the Union City Leisure Services' newly built Sports Center offer your col- leagues or clients an experience to remember. The Sports Center has a variety of amenities ideal for a wide range of events, including a 12,000 square foot gymnasium avail- able for group activities and team building exercises. Our meeting room can accommodate up to 100 people, and has additional business services and catering available. The Union City Sports Center is conveniently located with- in minutes of Hayward, Newark and Fremont city borders and easily accessible from the 880 freeway, as well as the Dumbarton and San Mateo Bridges. The new Union City Sports Center has space available for
private rentals on Saturday afternoons and evenings. The new facility's gymnasium can accommodate up to 500 people for dining and has a full commercial kitchen.

It is refundable approximately eight weeks after the event, assuming no damages or additional fees were incurred. For more information and rental fees, please call or visit the community center office. The Leisure Services Department and the Police Department may require you to hire State Licensed private security guards from a licensed firm. It is your responsibility to hire and pay for required security and/ or Union City Police Officers. Additional fees may apply.
