“Thumbs down: To the NEW teacher at LMS

for trying to change our school logo. What gives you the right to come to our school and try to change the logo, you don’t even live in Litchfield. Are you a Massachusetts transplant with a liberal agenda? This is New Hampshire Live Free or Die.”

“Thumbs down, WAY DOWN to the board of

selectmen members. After watching your meeting the other night, how DARE you try to save money by mentioning that you might close the Robinson Road fire station. I pay 100% of my taxes like the rest of the Hudson residents but since I live in the Northern part of town, OUR fire station is only open 25% of the time. I hope other folks in my area also speak up to maintain our fire and ambulance protection, even if it is only covered 25% of the time.”

“Thumbs up to my costume partner Jenna! You

are ‘tutu’ much ~ I couldn’t have made it through the month of October without you! Thanks So Much!! xo Little Rosie Lane”

“Thumbs down to the white HPW trucks that

sit for hours doing nothing, thinking, they are tucked away on

Town property or ball fields, were no one can see them goofing off, our raised taxes, hard at work!

P.S. It is not at lunch or break time either, everyone can see you!”

“Thumbs up to all of the staff at the Hudson

mall Blockbuster store. All of you have assisted in selecting movies and video games for us and our families. We will certainly miss all of you when Blockbuster closes next week. Katie, Jay, Peggy and Heather have always been cheerful, knowledgeable and helpful. We are sorry that the Meg company would not come to an arrangement with the Blockbuster company that would have kept your store open. Thanks for all your years here in Hudson. We will miss you all.”

“Thumbs down. What is happening to New

Hampshire? Our State and the town of Hudson have seen dramatic changes but unfortunately, very few positive changes. We now have violent criminals being released before they’ve served their sentence back into our neighborhoods. We also have a 5-fold increase in violence committed by women including many horrific and deadly acts. What can be done? People need to start with themselves by respecting and be courteous to others. This morning a neighbor two doors down was standing outside screaming terrible words at her husband with their daughter standing next to her. That child did not learn any lessons in civility this morning and will most likely repeat that stream of filth to another person. While many ladies reading this would say that ‘He probably deserved it.’ The reality

is no one deserves that type of degradation, it can never be justified. It’s time people were held accountable for their behavior. This so called Social Justice is nonsense, we need definitive laws with definitive penalties otherwise society will continue it’s downward spiral.”

“Thumbs down to that

mindless Obama supporter who, once again, is playing the race card and blaming Bush and Cheney for his hero’s failures. Wake up and smell the flowers! The Democrats got ‘shellacked’ because the voters repudiated Obama’s radical left-wing policies, not because of the color of his skin nor anything his predecessors did. A mere 26% of the electorate now thinks Obama will be re-elected in 2012. So, if it makes you feel better, go ahead and spout your drivel. The voters are no longer listening to it.”

“Thumbs up to the new

maintenance guy at the Community Center who took the time to help me load all of my materials into my car. I know that you were busy and I truly appreciate it.”

Hudson, my house was assessed at $275,000 and three realtors valued my home and land at $189,000 to $219,000 in market value, its no longer even a thing to joke about, us homeowners are being robbed, you no longer have to worry about home invasions the town assessors will rob you right in the mail, and there is nothing you can do. We should all meet and pay our taxes in quarters all on the same day at the town hall. That would wake these crooks up!”

being aggressively pursued by the Obama Administration. It would legalize roughly 2.1 million illegal aliens in the US. It is a tremendous insult to all the hard working LEGAL aliens who came to this country, learned our language, fought for our country, and raised their families in the USA to give them a better life. What is even more amazing is that apparently our Senator Shaheen, Representative Shea-Porter, and Representative Hodes are also aggressively supporting the Act. Is it possible that the lesson of November 2nd on the critical importance of doing the biddings of New Hampshire Citizens as opposed to an out-of-touch, leftist President was not learned by these three Democrats? Even more ironic is that two of them, Representative Hodes and Representative Shea-Porte were FIRED by the people of New Hampshire, yet they arrogantly insist on serving Obama over the people they were sent to represent. Thank goodness for Judd Greg who will stop this insanity in the Senate. We only have a couple more weeks to endure Representatives Hodes and Shea-Porter. However, I will not forget and will not allow Hudson or Litchfield to forget the betrayal by Jeanne Shaheen.”

“Thumbs down to Shawn Jasper for his

comment indicating that he did not want to be in session until 4 AM debating $6,000, $7,000 or $8,000 items in the budget. If there are items in the budget that need to be cut to save taxpayers money they should be cut no matter what their value is or how long it takes. If personnel costs need to be reduced then get to it but don’t whine about having to deal with smaller value items. It is the obligation of the selectmen and budget committee to act in the best interest of the taxpayers. Shame on Shawn for his comment that voters don’t care. Just because they don’t vote does not mean they do not care. Budgets and finances are foreign to most voters. They depend on elected officials to act on their behalf and protect their interests. It seems to me that Shawn may not get the real message from voters that they want prudence in expenditures and that raising revenue is not always the answer.”

“Thumbs down to people who litter. I ride

that wrote each week about the truths about the Obama administration activities. Please do not stop. There is much yet to CHANGE. Also careful about the new rules with airport pat downs.....this infringes on our 4th amendments rights but think of how much more control the government will have in our lives if they make this a military function (nothing against those in the military).
