On which reality show do you most wish to be? I don’t watch reality TV, but it has felt like our industry has been on Survivor for the past few years.

Which super power would you prefer to have? It would be Superman and his ability to fly.
What‘s the last movie you saw in theaters? Inception
If you could only eat one thing for the rest of your life, what would it be? Beef – and I could probably trade Bill Davies some beef for some eggs (see previous issue).

Why did you go into trucking? It was a chance to be an owner in a small business and deal with customers who, for the most part, are owners of their own business.
What is the best piece of advice you ever received? Be yourself.
What is your business philosophy? We will only be as successful as our customers, therefore we need to provide our customers value through our products and services.
What is the biggest challenge currently facing the trucking industry? Increasing government regulations and mandates that put the cost burden on the transportation industry
What improvements have you seen in the industry? From what I can see, the transportation industry has made great strides in improving awareness of the value of trucking with the general public and that starts with groups like the ATA and on through to the state organizations, particularly the MCM.

What are the greatest benefits of membership in the Motor Carriers of Montana? It is an excellent opportunity to interact with fellow members and work together to make a difference in the future of the transportation industry.

Where do you see growth coming from in the future? I think that coming out of the last three years there will be opportunities for growth in all facets of our business.
What is the most important service your company provides to fill a need in trucking? Our industry is not a one size fits all business. We focus on listening to our customers’ wants and needs and then finding the appropriate solution for them. RW
