Aura Stores will pay an annual rent of £30,000. Ravenhill was represented jointly by Savills and Barker Proudlove, Aura Stores was advised by Capital Retail.

Direct.com, has acquired the last remaining unit in Michael Drummond Properties’ conversion of the former Woolworths store, joining Poundland and Tesco Express. Sports
Direct.com moved into the town earlier this year occupying the former Next store located on Cornhill on a temporary licence. After a very successful trading period, it has now acquired Unit C, 24/26 Cornhill on a new 10-year lease at a commencing rental in the region of £150,000 pa. TOUCHWOOD SIGNS TWO MORE AS SALES SOAR
Superdry and homeware retailer Dwell are set to become the latest brands to join Lend Lease’s Touchwood shopping centre in Solihull. Superdry has taken a 15-year lease on a 7,100-sq ft unit while Dwell has signed a lease for 10 years on a 6,900-sq ft unit. The stores are the latest additions to the line up at Touchwood following recent deals to Pret a Manger, Ask, Bank
and Giraffe. Owner Lend Lease said Touchwood has outperformed the UK market with sales growing every month over the past
year. In September sales were up 15.7 per cent year on year. Guy Thomas, head of leasing at Lend Lease, said: “Touchwood continues to go from strength to strength and we’re currently in advanced negotiations with an additional two companies.”
