Scotland South’s Willsbro Aces Echo. Ashley described them as two beautiful heifers, but he also admired third placed Knowlesmere Rampage Dream Red from Western as a complete package too. He described his first two as balanced, long necked heifers with a lovely rump structure and excellent head carriage and he gave the nod to Rae for her cleanness through the shoulder and strength through the crops. Ashley’s reasons for two over three were Echo’s extra length of body, her sweeter head and neck and her strength through the front end compared to Dream, who showed more style than Lillyhall Alison from Border & Lakeland in fourth.
The final class, for April-May calves, was the only one not to feature a Scotland South in the top three. Ashley said this was a more
