Touring Cars are experiencing something of a renaissance, with burgeoning grids both in the British series and also on an international scale.


BTCC (the British Touring Car Championship) provides fabulous panel‐bashing action across a 3 race programme at each meeting, supported by a range of other title fights including the Renault Clio Cup and Formula Renault, Ginetta Juniors and Porsche Carrera Cup. BTCC is featured heavily on ITV4. BTCC visits the major circuits around the UK, including Silverstone, Brands Hatch, Donington Park, Oulton Park and Snetterton.


World Touring Cars takes a step up from the BTCC with heavy manufacturer involvement from the likes of Chevrolet, BMW and SEAT amongst others, even Lada has made an appearance. And with a World Championship at stake the racing is hard and fast. WTCC’s UK appearance in 2011 moves to the undulations of Donington Park after a number of years at Brands Hatch.
