Volleyball All-State Teams Announced

Association announces All- State teams for the three Volleyball divisions in the state. A first and second team is named, as well as an honorable mention team. Included are also Player and Coach of the Year. The players will be recognized on Saturday, November 13, at the conclusion of the senior all- star games.

Litchfield Cougars Fight Hard in Semifinals


submitted by Jason Kohm The Litchfield Cougars Girls U12 soccer team competed in


the Granite State League playoffs last weekend, advancing to the semifinal game. After finishing the regular season with a 5-1-2 record and winning their division, the Cougars entered the playoffs as the fifth seed. In the opening round, they played an outstanding game and defeated the fourth-seeded Kearsage by a score of 3-1. This put them in the semifinal game, where they played the number- one seeded Bedford Classics to a 0-0 tie at the end of regulation. Despite the frigid weather, it was a thrilling game. The game went in to overtime, when the Classics scored the game winner. The Cougars ended the season with a 6-2-2 record. The members of the team are Gillian Alward, Madison Caron, Meghan Donovan, Erin Douglas, Hannah Fabiano, Jillian Kohm, Danielle Ledoux, Jessica Manning, Madison Roy, Madison Slayback, Bridget Soraghan, Gabi Sott, Jacklyn Sullivan, Madison Taylor, Lauren Tipping, Megan Tipping, and Erin Wood. Congratulations on a great season!


Donnelly Honored for School Record

by Sue LaRoche This past Saturday, November 6, Caleb Donnelly was the lone Bronco who ran in the Meet of Champions race held at Mine Falls Park in Nashua. Donnelly finished in 16:07.7, just edging out the next runner who finished at 16:07.8. Donnelly finished in 13th place overall in this race, which included the top runners from all divisions throughout the state.

Donnelly Runs in Meet of Champions

season, Alvirne senior Caleb Donnelly broke Alvirne’s home 5K course record with a time of 15:59. Caleb broke the old record of 16:02, which was set in 2000 by Alvirne graduate John Kennedy. On October 29, a ceremony was held in recognition of this accomplishment, during which John placed Caleb’s name and time at the top of the record board.
