“Thumbs down to Mr. Garcia for constantly sending in the many ‘thumbs downs’ to State Rep Difruscia. If Tweedledum Garcia showed up for votes her name wouldn’t have been mentioned in the newspaper. Why doesn’t she finish her college first before running for office where she can spend her full time representing her constituents? We need a full time representative.”
To the very bad landlords who rent a 3 family home on North Main St. They have had 3 different tenants live there and have harassed each tenant that lived there. Beware if you see this listing on craigslist. We couldn’t live there the last month that I had paid rent and the landlord and his two daughters harassed us the whole time we lived there until we moved out. Even on the day we moved out we had to contact the local police because they wouldn’t let us in the apartment to move the stuff out. We had not even been there for a year before we had to get out because we couldn’t take it anymore. They also try to bilk people out of their security deposit and they are rude people. So please beware of renting from these people because we don’t want anyone to go through what we
went through just to get out of that horrible place and we don’t want anyone else to have to deal with these people.”
“Thumbs down to the new DSW in Salem for their ‘REAL’ unprofessional and rude management. If the shoe fits, wear it! Not to mention their overpriced shoes. Off Broadway is a much better choice.”
“Thumbs down to the gentleman ‘PHANTASM’ who wears a suit and walks up and down South Broadway in Salem. He goes from the sidewalk to the middle of the street for no reason. I have almost hit him twice as well as almost hitting another vehicle to avoid him. Please use the sidewalk or take a cab to where you need to go. You are creating a dangerous situation!!”
“Thumbs up to New

“Thumbs up to the Woodbury Junior High
School for such a wonderful time they put on for the veterans in Salem. As a career veteran I am proud to have such a time, you did a wonderful job and I was surprised to see my picture come up on the screen. Thank you very much.”
“Thumbs up for Pat Hargraves. Remember one thing Pat, we the people elected you and about the person or persons who put in that really bad slam about you not wanting good things for the school kids, you have to remember she declared she is a democrat.”
“Thumbs up to all of the newly paved roads in
Salem. Hopefully they will survive the winter and we won’t be riddled with pot holes like we have been in the past!”
“Thumbs up to Pat Hargreaves. You are the
voice of the people and we need someone like you on the board to keep the peoples best interest a priority. Keep up the good work and don’t let the dopes get you down!”

“Thumbs down to the parents who place basketball equipment on the side of the road, poor judgment. As we travel through and there is an accident who will be at fault? Not the child who considers the road his private playground, but

“Thumbs down to Everett McBride. Your performance at the budget committee meeting was staggering. Have you realized what the economy is all about? People are struggling, they are losing their houses, they can’t pay their mortgages? Have you seen the tax increases you voted in. This is because of what you do in deliberative sessions, this is because you are scared to make any cuts. You used to be a real conservative, now you have become a liberal. Why don’t
you become a democrat? That is what you truly are.”
“Thumbs up to the candidates who ran clean campaigns. You do not boost yourself by bashing others. As a matter of fact, I personally never vote for candidates that practice this type of campaigning. Basically, you are creating scandal to take the focus off your inability to list any true credentials or accomplishments. “
“Thumbs down to candidates that still haven’t taken down their signs. They are an eyesore!”
“Thumbs up to Danny Stacey for his Eagle Scout project for the Veteran’s Memorial Park. You did a fine job and we are all very proud of you and your accomplishments.”

“Thumbs up to the Man of the Year Sonny Tylus-

“Thumbs up, way up to opening the bridge on
Lawrence Road. I don’t know what I will do with my extra 30 minutes a day that I will gain by not having to drive halfway around Salem to come & go from my home! Thanks!”
“Thumbs up to the election of all the Republican candidates for the State Rep positions. It’s time to take back the state and the country. Hey Democrats can you hear us now!”
“Thumbs up to B & H Oil for being chosen the
by the Greater Salem Boys and Girls club as their Business of the Year! The Glynn family has been so dedicated in service to the club and I am glad to see that they were honored.”

Suzy is a very sweet 2 1/2-yr-old female hound/shep mix who weighs around 75lbs. When Suzy came to us from GA, she was a shy girl who just needed time and
patience to learn that life is good and humans are loving. She has been in a foster home and has made exceptional progress within a family environment. She loves all humans and really enjoys other dogs. According to her foster Mom, a friendly game of tag with the dogs and a nice nap are among her favorites. Suzy is also is crate trained and house trained. Suzy will need to have a

Shay is a sweet six year old female Rottweiler who came to our shelter as a result of a divorce. She is housetrained, good with kids, walks well on a leash, knows basic commands and enjoys going for rides in the car. She gets along well with dogs but, is not open to living with cats. Shay was given way too many treats in her life so will need several daily walks to help her get her weight to a healthy goal. Due to her weight issue, Shay is only able to climb a few stairs at present. She is not able to climb a large flight or jump in a car (with a boost she will love you for the ride). We are pretty certain
that as her weight issue is worked on, her mobility will pick up.Shay loves to be petted and will nudge you when you sto to tell you she wants more love! Shay will do well in a home with older children and a family who has rottie experience. She will also need a family that has time to walk her to help shed those pounds. If you think Shay would be a good addition to your family
and would like to meet her please apply online at www.arnne.org
. She is patiently waiting for her forever home
