New dates for Macef
There are new dates for the next spring Macef, which will now take place from Thursday 27 to Sunday 30 January 2011, and no longer from 28 to 31. The decision to bring the traditional Friday to Monday opening forward by a day was validated by the significant success in terms of public exhibitor response to the September edition. The result was a more than six per cent increase in the number of visitors, four full days of trading, more convenient days for international buyers and a better distribution
of visitors over the four days. Macef January 2011 will be the 90th edition: a series which started in September 1964 becoming twice- yearly after seven annual editions, and which has promoted the homeware industry for over 40 years. “It’s an anniversary that will not go unobserved; we will take advantage of the occasion to accentuate and promote the unique features of this show, among the biggest and most important in the world. In January the greatest emphasis will be put on the Table and Kitchen sector, which will occupy pavilions 1-4. For more information visit
