All Nations Indian Baptist Church never misses a beat through a leadership transition, thanks to the Lord’s goodness and the help of many hands
salm 107: 8 says, “Oh, that men would give thanks to the Lord for His goodness, and for
His wonderful works to the children of men!” We have so much for which to give thanks to the
Lord. He has saved us and has given us a place of service in His great work. Mary and I feel very privileged to serve with the All Nations Indian Baptist Church in Rio Rancho, New Mexico. All Nations has much for which to be thankful. The wise leadership of Merritt and Lulie Youngdeer and the prayers and support of so many in the BMA of America have enabled the church to continue reaching the lost and making disciples. Some of the things we are thankful for are that Laz and his wife Leonore, a Native American from the Jemez Pueblo, trusted Jesus Christ as Savior and are being discipled weekly. A young single mother, Francesca, has taken the responsibility to teach the little ones in Sunday School. Some of our teens, Brandon, Jonny, and Kyle have a heart for worship and have formed a Youth Praise Band. Our Associate Pastor, Ray Perry, is going to be able to share the Gospel through TV and the internet with the “Creator Connection Ministry.” Marty Yazzie conducted his Navajo uncle’s funeral last month and shared his testimony and the Gospel with over 200 lost relatives and friends. All Nations was blessed this summer by Wyatt Baptist Church from El Dorado, Arkansas, and Far-

ley Street Baptist Church from Waxahachie, Texas, coming to help with a Vacation Bible School, Sports Camp, and painting the outside of the church building. The Temple Baptist Church in Mexia sent backpacks, school supplies, tote bags, and personal hygiene items to be used in ministry. These wonderful people gave their time, talent, and resources to reach out to the lost of our city. They sacrificed much to get the Gospel out. We are also thankful that progress is being made
on completing the work on the outside of the church property. God willing, we will see the curbing, parking lot, and landscaping completed soon. Our members are also taking more ownership and serving. Sharleen Reed is now our Church Treasurer and doing a good job. We are being drawn closer together through fellowship in and outside of the church building. God allowed many of our member- ship to celebrate our Creator in the beautiful Jemez Mountains with a picnic. It was a great time of getting to know each other outdoors in God’s wonderful creation. Again, we appreciate your faithful prayers and
support for Mary and me and the people of All Nations Indian Baptist Church. Please continue to pray for the lost Native Americans of our area and that All Nations can continue having an impact in reaching them with the Gospel. n
