Upcoming Events Appeal to the Senses

T

Chris Tsefalas is anointed as one of the world’s 200 “Noses” and lives right here in Portland where he runs The Perfume House. Learn about what three essentials have to be in a perfume at his store and what it takes to be one of the world’s Noses Thursday, Nov. 18 from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m.

Attendees enjoy stories ranging from historical references to who fl ies in to Portland just to visit his shop. The Perfume House carries well-known brands, but they also have some of the most exclusive scents in the world, such as the original Le Vainqueur, a fragrance commissioned by Napoleon and Josephine. His passion and knowledge of perfumery is contagious, leaving people wanting to know more.

The cost is $26 for members and $28 for guests.
