12•16•10  Small Business Holiday Party


Small businesses reserve space in the festively decorated Grand Ballroom for an evening of live music, dancing and a deli- cious dinner buffet. For a small company, this is an excellent way to offer an elegant party at a fraction of the cost. The evening begins at 6:30 and Pressure Point takes the stage at 7 p.m. The cost is $48 per person inclusive. To reserve, call Private Dining at 503-223-8742.


12•17•10  Early Birds Christmas Breakfast


The Early Birds gather in the MAC Ballroom at 6:15 a.m. for their annual Christmas Breakfast. This festive family event features a delicious breakfast, holiday music sung by the MAC Balladeers and a fashion show by Columbia Sportswear. The breakfast concludes with the recogni- tion of Mr. and Ms. Early Bird 2010.


12•18•10  Children’s Holiday Party


Ho! Ho! Ho! Santa makes a special appearance at the Children’s Holiday Party. Do not miss the photo opportunity as well as a full morning of activities from 9:30-11:30 a.m.


Children make custom-made holiday tags, decorate cookies, and sing along to the MelloMacs. Enjoy hot chocolate and make garland, ornaments, and festive magnets to celebrate the season. The event is free for members only and does not require registration. No guests, please.


12•19•10  Holiday Brunch


12•17•10  Polar Express Family Fridays


At this special holiday-themed Family Fridays, families can watch The Polar Express in 3D while waiting to ride the popular Polar Express train around the Indoor Track. Children can have their picture taken with Santa Claus; get their faces painted; participate in a “snowball” fi ght; drink hot cocoa; or climb the Indoor Rock Wall. All children are encouraged to come dressed in their pajamas.


Be part of the MAC tradition and join friends and family in the Grand Ballroom for the elaborate brunch buffet. Seatings start at 10 a.m. The cost is $33 per person, and $1 per year for children 12 and younger. A 20 percent service charge is added to the total.


12•20•10 - 12•23•10 and 12•27•10 - 12•30•10  Holiday Day Camp


The junior sports department offers a holiday camp from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Many popular camp activities are offered in addi- tion to structured camps team sports and other activities, including the opportunity to swim daily. The cost is $53 per day for members and $63 per day for guests.


The fun starts at 6 p.m. in the Grand Ballroom with a family-friendly buffet. Families can get down and groove on the dance fl oor with a live DJ, make crafts. or play organized games. Watch a live feed of the midnight countdown from Times Square at 9 p.m. and an exciting balloon drop. The party wraps up after the count- down with a few New Year’s dances to usher in 2011.


Games and activities are geared toward children ranging in age from 2 to 11. The cost is $32 for adults and $14 for children. A no-host bar is available for all the non- driving adults.

As always, Family Fridays is free to all MAC members and their families. Guests are also welcome; the fee is $14 per person. The dinner buffet is from 5:30-8:30 p.m. The gyms are open from 6-9 p.m.

12•31•10  New Year’s Eve Dinner


The Men’s Bar is open on New Year’s Eve from 5:30-9 p.m. Before heading to a New Year’s Eve destination, stop in to the Men’s Bar for dinner or a cocktail. Holiday menu items are available. No reservations are required.

12•31•10  New Year’s Eve Party Families are invited to ring in the New


Year with Bright Lights. Enjoy a spec- tacular choreographed show by a dynamic fi re-dancing duo. This show-stopping circus-style fi re performance features fl aming objects and the fi nest in martial arts and juggling.
