Chose the Nails, has inspired Michelle Painter to volunteer: “We are at our best when we are giving. In fact, we are most like God when we are giving.” This rising sophomore at Fluvanna County High School has not let her youth deter her from helping others by volunteering with People and Congregations Engaged in Ministry (PACEM) and through the Appalachian Service Project on mission trips. “You really take a reality check of your own life and how much you have,” Michelle says of her mission trips.
