“Thumbs down to the lady who is a poor loser
and who thinks she is creating a Hatfield’s and McCoy’s situation. You’re not, you are just keeping us amused with your low-life antics. Then trying to get the young neighborhood kids involved with bad mouthing our
youngest...shame on you. Saturday night you stooped to a new low. You have no class and never had it. Keep it up so I can continue to show my kids how not to be and so I can keep laughing at you.”

“Thumbs down to the 50 state attorney generals for killing a fragile housing market that was just starting to make a comeback. Also for destroying the stock market and setting the recession recovery back another year or more. If you think that the unemployment rate is high now just wait until these idiots get done. Also a big ‘thumbs down’ to Obama for pocket vetoing the Bill that Congress passed that would have avoided this mess. To the people that can pay there mortgages and don’t this gives you another extended free ride. Isn’t funny that every time the politicians get involved it is the guy that works hard for a living to support his or her family and pays his bills is the one that takes on the chin. All smoke and mirrors to give the public the opinion that they are looking out for our welfare. Another waste of money and resources that could have been used for the betterment of the community.”
“Thumbs up, way up, to Shawna Trunca and Alyssa Paquin on the successful breast cancer walk organized for their senior project. ‘Thumbs down’, however, to the tasteless donated shirts. As a husband, father of a daughter and rather liberal thinker, I applaud the efforts of these two young women to draw attention to breast cancer awareness, the importance of self-examination, early detection and successful therapies. How unfortunate that we trivialize their efforts by providing shirts that refer to breasts as ‘Racks and Hooters,’ words that reinforce the view that parts of female anatomy are merely objects of attraction. Seems to me that an
“Thumbs down. Fruit for thought: Are you on the fence about Obama? Even if you are a supporter,
Balduccispizza.com
you should do your homework. Listen to ALL news stations in order to get ALL the news. Did you know that Obama is subsidizing Brazil for offshore deep water drilling (I thought he said this was bad for the planet?) and all but shutting it down here? Why is he doing this? You can’t fly planes on solar panels. And did you know that he is sending billions of dollars to Pakistan and Turkey to help them build their mosques when 1 out or 10 are out of work here? What is his ulterior motive? And lastly, what does he and his radical friends mean when they talk about ‘transforming’ our country?”
“Thumbs down to last week’s incoherent rant against the ‘... top administrator in the WSD...,’ and the ignorant statement: ‘Pelham take note. He is half yours.’ Were you drinking when you wrote that? It appears so, and obviously ignorance and some misguided agenda on your part is playing a role here. How about backing off the personal attacks against the very people who are trying to do what’s best for our kids and the school
district. It does no good, and your unsubstantiated, opinion-based, personal attacks will do nothing to help our kids. In fact it does nothing but hurt. Think about that next time you want to vent. Our kids read the paper too.”
“Thumbs down to State Representative Carolyn
Webber. During her term in the New Hampshire House of Representatives she voted in favor of a small business income tax, a campsite tax, and a $20 dollar increase to register our care. S he then had the nerve to call it ‘fiscally responsible.’ Who is she kidding!? At least she made some of those taxes easier for us to take by then voting to decriminalizing marijuana.”
“Thumbs down to Congressman Paul Hodes. His U.S. Senate campaign hired a polling firm that conducted illegal push polls against Republicans and was fined $20 thousand by the New Hampshire Attorney General. He then had the arrogance and audacity to label the incident a “partisan stunt by the Republican Party. ’Its time to heave Hodes this November!”
“Thumbs down State Rep. Carolyn Webber. More ‘Letters to the Editor’ and more lies from her liberal cronies. She did not have perfect attendance at the State House this term. She missed 10 votes. Please stop misleading voters.”

“Thumbs up to David Bates, D.J. Bettencourt, Marilinda Garcia, and Walter Kolodziej. The fact that former Representative Tony DiFruscia isn’t supporting them is the best reason why the rest of us should support them! DiFruscia is a sore loser who only cares about his own ego. Please go away! Perhaps back to Massachusetts.”

“Thumbs down Former Representative Tony DiFruscia is crying and pouting because he lost in the Republican Primary. So let’s take a look at Tony’s record and see why he was rejected: He supports gay marriage, an income tax, and voted in favor of releasing violent inmates nine months before the end of their maximum sentence, and fully

We thank you sincerely for the opportunity to make a difference for the people of Hudson, Litchfield, and Pelham. We’re asking you to re-elect us to another term, so we can continue the work we’ve started.
The people of our towns share values, goals, and dreams for a better future. As legislators, we’ve worked closely with Governor John Lynch to promote our area’s needs and interests on the state level, and maintain our quality of life without a sales or income tax.
We’ve worked diligently for the people of District 27, and with your help, will continue to work to strengthen the economy and put people back to work.
Please vote for us for State Representative on November 2. As we are in all things, we’ll be together on the ballot!

supports Obamacare. He should just go back to being a Democrat.”
“Thumbs up to Chris Sununu. He did a magnificent job during the Greater Salem Chamber of Commerce debate. He will be a breath of fresh air and energy on the Executive Council. Beverly Hollingworth has been in politics for too long and its time for her to go. She is part of the problem.”
“Thumbs down to the parent who writes the PHS football updates for the Lowell Sun! It’s a shame that YOU have an issue with 2 of the KIDS on the team that you fail to mention their names in your weekly write-ups when they rightfully deserve it. Who’s the adult here??”
“Thumbs down to all people saying ‘I told you so’ about an addition to PHS. Read the letter from the
and please stop blaming her for the move to Division III Football. It should have been done years ago and I am the parent of a player!”
“Thumbs up to revealing the Pelham High
School addition plans. A $12.3 million band-aid that doesn’t even begin to address the issues in the existing building. What a joke!”
“Thumbs up to the creator of

for providing valuable information about Tony DiFruscia.”
“Thumbs down to former Rep. DiFruscia for being a vindictive sore loser, and resorting to negative campaigning to weasel your way back into the legislature.”
“Thumbs down to Rep. DiFruscia. The voters said NO to you on Primary Day. You Lost. Give up gracefully like Russ Ingram did.”

architect Marinace to Dr. Bass which you can find on the school district website
www.pelhamsd.org. In it, Paul Marinace tells Dr. Bass that the addition plan is ‘an extremely bare bones’ that is intended to ‘get the High School through a few more years until a permanent fix was possible.’ The letter further states that the addition plan ‘did nothing to deal with any of the obsolete, barely functional, and inefficient building components, including the mechanical and electrical systems, poor building insulation, and generally low quality construction of the original building.’ Is this what Linda Mahoney wants to use over 12 million in tax dollars for… another band aid? If you voted ‘no’ to a new school because you were holding out for an addition…. Here’s what an addition gets you. (Now we can see how much additions at the PMS and PES will cost.)”
“Thumbs up Dr. Moore! This is my first thumbs submission ever but felt the need. I feel the need to remind everyone that this is no easy job she does. She understands teenagers, does a great job and has been nothing but help to us. She has gone over and beyond and I am grateful. Sometimes you just need to say nice things about people. I’m glad she is here,

“Thumbs down to the Pelham police force in general where do they find these guys? Their incompetence is incredible and they are a disgrace to our community.”
“Thumbs down to the person or people who are moving and destroying the Webber for state rep signs. She must be a real threat to them. Even though it is against the law perhaps they don’t realize it is an illegal activity.”
“Thumbs down. Does anyone else notice the
demoralization that has been going on with the new transfer station management in Pelham. Big promises, change after change with no gain only confusion. Put it back the way it was with some new oversight please.”
“Thumbs down to the lame duck Tony DeFrusia, a misguided conspiracy theorist for all his accusations fingering innocent reps who have nothing to do with the people pointing out his record. It’s the voting record stupid.”
“Thumbs down to whoever gave ‘thumbs down’ to former rep DeFrusia he is not a ‘former rep’ and will not be until January 2011, and hopefully will not then. And furthermore ‘thumbs up’ to rep DeFrusia for voting for the people not the party. That is the definition of having principals and not selling out.”
